  • Read and blog about the following article: A Bandwidth Breakthrough
    1. Link and title of the article
    2. Synopsis of the article -- What exactly did the researchers do to achieve their results?
    3. Identify the stakeholders (people who have a vested interest in the scenario)
    4. Identify the areas of impact (look at the front board on the left)
    5. Identify AND describe any social or ethical issues related to the article
    6. What is your opinion of the issue? i.e. How does it affect you? How do you feel about that?
    7. What positive and negative impacts will result?
    8. Give a couple examples of specific places that this technology may be helpful in peoples' day-to-day activities

  • Answer the following on your blog:
    1. What is the date of the talk?

    3. What are your initial reactions to watching this video?
    4. What are some uses of multi-touch technology? Describe the devices.
    5. Describe the advantages to using multi-touch (i.e. why is it better than a keyboard or mouse?)
    6. Describe the disadvantages to using multi-touch (i.e. why is it not better than a keyboard or mouse?)
    7. Describe how multi-touch can be used in 2 different areas of impact (that are not Home & Leisure). Give specific examples and name the areas of impact.

    5. Go go the Networking Vocab Spreadsheet and add the definitions for your numbers
    6. Mr. Bui will create a class set of vocab words on Quizlet using the spreadsheet
    7. Play with Quizlet games
    8. Take the Networking Vocab Quizlet Test before the end of class
    9. Print out the resulting test and its score
