Animation

From WLCS

"Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement." [1]

To a 10-year-old, this means showing lots of pictures very very fast in order to make it seem like the people in the pictures are moving.

Animation is used in video games to make characters do things, such as jump, crawl, or open a door. Animation is used by Pixar to make movies such as "Finding Nemo" and "Cars."
