- HW & SW Vocab Quiz
- ITGS Project should be pretty much done at this point. Freak out if it's not. Work on it now.
Thursday (2/9/12)
Agenda:
- Blog Post
- Mr. Bui will announce the area of impact
- You must choose a specific personal/public communication technology
- Describe very specifically how that technology is used in the area of impact. Explain every step in its usage.
- List and describe the advantages of using the technology
- List and describe the disadvantages of using the technology
- Discuss the social & ethical issues relating to the technology and its specific usage. Discuss how the issues may be solved.
- ITGS Project should be completed by February 13th, 2011
Quiz:
- Monday, 2/13/12 - Hardware and Software
- Word bank will be provided. If you do not use a word bank, you will get bonus points.
Tuesday (2/7/12)
Agenda:
- Personal and Public Communications Presentations
- Work on ITGS Project!!!!
Monday - Friday (1/30/12 - 2/3/12)
- Personal and Public Communications - Media:PersonalPublicCommunications.pptx
- Assignment due Friday (2/3/12):
- Receive an Area of Impact
- Create a presentation that covers all the above technologies and your area of impact:
- Specific vocabulary or key terms from your technologies
- Two specific examples of personal/public communication technology and how it is specifically used in your area of impact
- If possible, display a graphic or illustration of the technology used in your area of impact
- Discuss the advantages of using the technology in your area
- Discuss the disadvantages or problems from using the technology in your area
- Discuss the social and ethical issues
- ITGS Project should be completed by February 13th, 2011
