- Draw a sketch of the layout
- In your sketch, be sure to label and caption each component of your program
- Create a list of goals and requirements that your program must be able handle
- You should have about 5-6 major requirements
- Give each of your requirements a deadline from now until the end of May
- Turn in your layout and your requirements list

- Example problems for you
- Studying for a math / science exam
- Keeping track of movies / DVDs
- After-school work-related problems (e.g. inventory at CVS)
- By the end of today, turn in your problem analysis
- Statement of the problem
- Describe why/how it is a problem
- Describe how the problem has been addressed/solved in the past or today
- State who the end-users will be
- DO NOT DISCUSS YOUR SOLUTION
