Objective:
- You will learn to navigate the Scratch website
- You will explore and play different Scratch games
- You will be able to download different Scratch games
- You will analyze the Scratch code of games that interest you
Resources:
Directions:
- Begin by exploring http://www.scratch.mit.edu/
- Be sure to check out Scratch - Games of Glory
- If a project interests you, then download the code and play with it
- Choose your 5 favorite games out of the hundreds
- Create a Google Doc named Favorite Games and Ideas
- Put your name at the top of the Google Doc
- In the Google Doc, write up the following for each game:
- Game name
- URL link to the game
- Describe in a couple sentences the part of the game that you would be interested in adding to your own games
- Share the Google Doc with Mr. Bui
