Warmup:

  • Watch TED Talk: Jeff Han demos his breakthrough touchscreen
  • Answer the following on your blog:
    1. What is the date of the talk?
    2. What was the announcement date of the first iPhone?
    3. What are your initial reactions to watching this video?
    4. What are some uses of multi-touch technology? Describe the devices.
    5. Describe the advantages to using multi-touch (i.e. why is it better than a keyboard or mouse?)
    6. Describe the disadvantages to using multi-touch (i.e. why is it not better than a keyboard or mouse?)
    7. Describe how multi-touch can be used in 2 different areas of impact (that are not Home & Leisure). Give specific examples and name the areas of impact.

    5. Go go the Networking Vocab Spreadsheet and add the definitions for your numbers
    6. Mr. Bui will create a class set of vocab words on Quizlet using the spreadsheet
    7. Play with Quizlet games
    8. Take the Networking Vocab Quizlet Test before the end of class
    9. Print out the resulting test and its score
