Tuesday - Monday (6/8/10 - 6/14/10)

  • Work on your website using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Try to add the following to your website:
    • Two or three column formatted page (Example)
    • Images as links
    • Rollover images change
    • Aesthetic fonts and colors

Friday (5/28/10)

  • Complete your multi-page website
  • Once you have completed your website, you may want to learn more about styling your webpage with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Use CSS on your website and make it look good

Wednesday (5/26/10)

  • Introduction to Web Development
    • Read this Introduction to Web Design
    • Receive washlee.net accounts
      • Host: ftp.washlee.net
      • Username: example@washlee.net
    • Install XAMPP if you have your laptop
    • Create a basic HTML webpage and upload to your host (if you're running XAMPP, then your host is local)
    • Assignment 1: Create a biographical webpage and upload it to your host
    • Assignment 2: Create a website with multiple webpages that are linked together
