Third quarter

File server

  • Get a proper AFP or NFS server running on the PE700 under Ubuntu or Debian.
    • 250 GB RAID 1 setup working properly ✓
    • Install an OS (Debian 6) ✓
    • Build compatible version of Netatalk
    • Get autodiscovery working with Avahi
    • Fix any remaining issues by testing over Fortress of Solitude with MBP
  • Research getting a domain server running so people can log into a thingy with it without logging into the thingy itself (LDAP/OpenDS or ADDS)
  • Do not install DHCP server ✓

PHP stuff

  • On the same server, make it able to do all the stuff Monolith can (LAMP/Transmission/basic GUI etc)
    • Apache + PHP ✓
    • MySQL ✓
    • Transmission (torrents) ✓
    • Basic GUI ✓
      • Openbox + Tint2 + Conky ✓
