- Begin implementation of your VB program
Friday - Tuesday (4/24/09 - 4/28/09)
- Begin designing your VB program
- Draw a sketch of the layout
- In your sketch, be sure to label and caption each component of your program
- Create a list of goals and requirements that your program must be able handle
- You should have about 5-6 major requirements
- Give each of your requirements a deadline from now until the end of May
- Turn in your layout and your requirements list
Monday - Wednesday (4/20/09 - 4/22/09)

- Evaluation
- Famous engineering problems
- How do we cross a body of water?
- How do we travel long distances?
- How do we fit a lot of people in a particular area?
- How do we power electronic devices?
- Think about and research a particular problem that you would like to solve
- Example problems for you
- Studying for a math / science exam
- Keeping track of movies / DVDs
- After-school work-related problems (e.g. inventory at CVS)
- By the end of today, turn in your problem analysis
- Statement of the problem
- Describe why/how it is a problem
- Describe how the problem has been addressed/solved in the past or today
- State who the end-users will be
- DO NOT DISCUSS YOUR SOLUTION
