After working with the Toaster on Monday and doing some updates and testing, the prototype machine we are using is really, really slow -- //so// slow that it might be frustrating to anyone who is trying to use it. I realize that it's just a prototype and won't be the finished product, but I have a spare machine at home that we can use even just for the prototype. It is a Dell Dimension 2400 and works great with Ubuntu on it. I feel that we maybe should use that since it's 2.0 GHz instead of whatever the current model is (ie. a lot slower than 2 GHz). I can bring it in on our next meeting and maybe by then have it all set up and running as a prototype. --[[User:Alindeman|Alindeman]] 19:24, 22 December 2008 (UTC) | After working with the Toaster on Monday and doing some updates and testing, the prototype machine we are using is really, really slow -- //so// slow that it might be frustrating to anyone who is trying to use it.
