- Complete the Project: Sorting Your Friends
- CSS Selectors Review & Assignment
- Complete CSS Positioning
- Complete Build a Resume
- HTML & CSS Syntax Quiz on Tuesday (4/30/12)
Website Layout Research Assignment:
- Find 3 websites that you like to visit and that you feel are good website designs
- On blank paper, sketch the skeletal design/layout of the webpages (each sketch should be 1/2 a page)
- On your sketch, label all the major elements/divisions of the page
- Navigation bar (vertical? horizontal? both?)
- Logo?
- Header?
- Any other side bars?
- Main content?
- Any subsections of the main content?
- Footers?
- Major links?
- Make sure you put your name on the top of the page, staple, and turn them in

- Complete Project: Designing a button for your website
- If you have completed all of the CSS tutorials, then you may begin designing and creating your website
Tuesday (4/16/13)

- HTML Basics II check
- Project: Social Networking Profile check
- HTML Basics III check
- Project: Clickable Photo Page check
- If you are done with all of the above, then take out a sheet of paper and draft a design for your own website. If you don't have any ideas, check out different webpages and analyze how they layout their websites. You can change your design as many times as you like, but you can start thinking about it now.
