- 20/10 no pass policy
- Location of bathrooms
- Sign in/out sheets
- Lab setup/config
- Login username is your first initial and lastname (e.g. pbui)
- Your password is your student ID number
- Go to System -> Preferences -> About Me -> Change Password
- Acceptable-use policies apply in this lab!
- Student Surveys
- Fill out and submit
- What is computer science?
- Pair up
- Take out a sheet of paper
- Put both of your names on the top right of the page
- Complete the following:
- List 5 things that use computers
- List 5 things you have done in any science class
- Define the term: "to compute" or "computation"
- How do we solve problems?
- Pair up again (with a different partner)
- Take out a new sheet of paper and write your names on it
- Problem: Mr. Bui is hungry. How would you solve that problem? Write out the steps.
