Definition: A trojan horse is a type of virus that infects a computer. The virus appears to perform an appropriate function, but actually allows another unauthorized user to control the infected computer.
Example: A user might download a file named computer_game.scr. The user thinks that he is downloading a computer game, but infact the file will perform operations without the user's consent.
